The ASCOM Telescope Driver for Takahashi Temma mounts works with all Takahashi Temma mounts, including Temma PC and Temma II. When used alone, the driver allows you to create scripts to control your telescope, using nothing more than Windows Notepad. Scripts can be written in any of the scripting languages supported by Windows Scripting Host, and include VBScript, JavaScript, Perl, Python, Tkl and others. Windows supports scripting in VBScript and JavaScript out-of-the-box. Others can be added as desired.

There's more! In addition to creating your own scripts, there are a variety of applications that support ASCOM Telescope drivers. Using this driver, your telescope will instantly work with all of these programs. It works rather like printer drivers in Windows. You install the driver once, then all programs that know how to print can work with your printer. ASCOM is exactly the same idea, but for telescopes and astronomy equipment.
